About the internship:
· You will be involved in data science and cognitive projects, with a focus on developing AI-based models and cognitive chatbot application that delivers impact for improving IBM business operations.
· You will focus on converting business problems into cognitive solutions that integrates chatbot, statistical models, Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies.
· You will be working alongside a data science team in an agile, fast-moving and collaborative environment involving data scientists, web developers/engineers, database managers, and operation experts of different expertise and backgrounds. Responsibilities:
· Apply artificial intelligence/ deep learning/ neural networks techniques to solve real-word problems
· Collate information from various departments and review if they are suitable to be trained into the chatbot
· Understand the logical flow of the chat conversation training platform and build a database of synonyms to ensure chatbot's understanding of similar words
· Access the chatbot dashboard daily and review the feedback received
· Follow up on any issues that we are unable to resolve
· Review of questions received and checking if these questions are getting the correct answers
· Analyze user behaviour and suggest questions that can be included or fine-tuned to improve user experience
· Work on making the chatbot more ‘human' and ‘friendly' i.e. by injecting a sense of humour or a more youthful way of responding to enquiries.
· Participate in UAT of new chats and enhancements
· Be part of outreach activities, campaigns, demos, events and roadshows to promote usage of the chatbot
· Develop communication/ announcements on new enhancements Requirements:
· Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Engineering, statistics or similar
· Knowledge on Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning/Deep learning algorithm. Development experience in one or more of data science and ML languages, e.g. Python
· A great team player who excels working with diverse group of colleagues and poses excellent social and communication skills
· Prior experience with IBM Watson Assistant or other chatbot building tools will be a plus
· SCALA skill will be a plus
Internship Period: Minimum 3 months (preferably 6 months).
