Job description
The Intellectual Property Legal Assistant for the IBM Patent Center is responsible for performing paralegal duties for all IP attorneys and other professionals.
Responsibilities include providing support services that facilitate the effective protection of intellectual property. Paralegal duties include completing and submitting relevant forms and other administrative matters required for IP protection before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, obtaining and entering data with IP Law databases, interfacing with United States Patent and Trademark Office and supporting IP professionals in other matters. Precise attention to detail is essential to meet the requirements of the United States Patent and Trademark Office as well as IBM internal databases.
