Job description
This position is multi faceted and introduces the team member to a variety of business functions. As a North America resource and participant in Global processes, the team member works with a number of staff in creating, developing and delivering the desired results to meet the ever changing business requirements.
This position as Tools/IT Specialist for System Operations focuses on the following key points:
· Point of contact for all DBs' access add ons or subtractions upon request
· Modify forms or views when requested, and where feasible
· Refine application code based on specified requirements
· Update specific feeder forms that have control within other databases
· Check reports from certain automated processes when mailed to you
· Perform regular ACL audits to remove inactive IDs
· Database/Application Performance Tuning

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 2 years experience.
Designer aspects of a notes databases, R8 or higher
Designing standard forms, views, frames and pages
Able to design layouts to be comfortable to use, but staying within standard IBM guidelines
Understanding of @Formulas commonly used in fields, functions, actions, agents and events
Understand using Enterprise architecture data sharing between multiple databases
Strong working background using extensive and sometimes complex Lotus Scripting
Basic knowledge using API for web based data & Notes security & accesses

The following preferred skills require a minimum of 1 year experience
Familiar with other applications mostly Lotus 1-2-3 & MS-Excel
Good understanding of how Lotus script uses OLE to interact with external applications, both reading from & writing to
Able to create and configure new OLE objects from script commands or use of templates
Able to sign onto a remote Notes type server, and perform mail specific functions from it
Perform regular archiving on the larger Dbs and store in a long term shared web site for audit purposes
Able to trouble shoot & debug coding failures
