Job description
Overview -- Area Description:
This IMT Business Unit Advisor will be paired up with an IMT BU Focal that will lead the deployment of sales transformation of IBM Sales Model initiatives for a given Business Unit as part of the Sales Coverage & Transformation (SC&T) team. The role will drive execution and adoption of key programs which support the optimal deployment of sales resources, with a focus on improving overall sales productivity.
The candidate should have strong written & oral Communication skills, good Excel, Cognos and QMF skills, good understanding of the IBM sales functions and sales management processes, and an understanding of the company's sales transformation strategy. The role requires the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, and a proven capability to execute and deliver on time. It is advantageous for the candidate to also have strong project management, organizational change management, leadership and organizational skills. Prior project management or consulting experience is highly desirable.
This work will include analysis, reporting, consolidating, collaborating and directly educating and following up Sales Leaders to ensure each program is closed per the deployment plan. This role is also responsible for: (together with the IMT SC&T BU Focal), ensuring that the AP programs are implemented in the IMTs with as much consistency as possible; providing feedback and guidance to the IMT and AP leaders; and proactively engaging in developing new programs/processes as the needs arise, based on what is observed from business leaders, or obtained from analysing the IMT feedback data. The role will also support the IMT BU Focal in tracking initiative deployment plans, with integrated deployment timelines and clear adoption and change management plans, including communications, training and education for stakeholders. The candidate will collaborate with other functions like Finance, I&C and Business Ops and work closely with other WW SC&T CoE members across the 4 locations to leverage training and education.
