Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technology Business Unit is looking for a Sales Representative for IBM Z Hardware products IBM Z is the flagship mainframe in the server market. It has the reliability, availability, and scalability most suited for mission-critical operations in enterprises, government, and public organizations, and also implements cutting-edge IT technologies such as hybrid cloud and AI.
This is a sales role to propose IBM Z hardware. This job involves listening to customers' issues and needs, having expertise in IBM products, and making appropriate proposals. By participating in various proposal activities while learning about IBM mainframe products with the pride of providing products that support social infrastructure, you will be able to contribute to the digital transformation of our customers.
The technology implemented on the IBM Z is the cornerstone of all IT infrastructure, including servers and cloud computing, and is highly compatible with cutting-edge IT technologies such as hybrid cloud, AI, and DevOps. This is a great opportunity for IT sales professionals to acquire a wide range of future-proof skills. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with client executives in the course of proposing mission-critical systems used in mission-critical business operations, and to improve your skills by collaborating with global experts at times, which will be very useful for your future IT sales career.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in corporate sales in the IT industry
Ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with customers

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
IBM mainframe sales experience is desirable.
Experience in server sales, especially mainframe sales, is desirable.
The candidate should be able to explain not only IBM's products but also convey the value of solutions to customers in an easy-to-understand manner through demonstrations of specific applications and demonstrations.
Good communication skills in English (e-mail and web conferencing) is desirable.
