Your Role and Responsibilities

◆◆◆◆ Position Summary, Mission ◆◆◆
We are looking for a Technical Engineer to design, build and perform system testing of IBM Z financial accounts systems.

◆◆◆ Duties ◆◆

We will listen to the client's issues and needs, and propose appropriate solutions based on our expertise and technical skills in IBM z software for financial banking systems consisting of IMS, NetView, SAIL (packaged products for financial institutions), etc., in cooperation with the global product development department.
The position will also support the implementation of preventive maintenance verification of SW products using an in-house verification system that simulates the system configuration and business application characteristics of the customer's system environment, reproduce failure events that have occurred in the customer's system, and study and verify workarounds for the failure events.

This is a team that supports the stable operation of client systems using in-house verification environments, focusing on the zOS and IMS products that make up Japan's financial accounting systems. We are looking for a new team member to join our team.
You will be able to handle projects while collaborating with members involved in various SW products within the company (SEs in charge of customers, CEs, domestic and international development departments, etc.).
You will be able to learn not only the product you are working on, but also the latest related technologies and propose them to the customer as quickly as possible.

◆ ◆ ◆ Responsible for all IBMZ SW products (mainly zOS, IMS, IIDR)
Customer Industry: Financial Industry (Banking)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
・Ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with clients
・Basic knowledge not only of IMS products, but also of the overall infrastructure of financial banking systems, including zOS, SAIL (a package for financial institutions), NetView, etc.
・Experience in proposing and building solutions for financial accounting systems

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
・Experience in developing simple business applications
・Japanese language skills equivalent to native Japanese speaker, as communication with Japanese customers is a prerequisite for face-to-face or remote communication
・Reading/Hearing skills to understand English technical documents and participate in training
・English communication skills (email, conference calls)
