The Role
Owing to continued success, business growth and expansion into new areas of expertise we need to add experienced IBM Cloud Sales Engineer professionals to our successful team.
As an IBM Cloud Sales Engineer you will work with clients across Europe to help them find solutions to their IT, business and cloud computing needs.
You will specialise and have expertise in the Cloud Computing solution areas and will benefit from extensive education and training to develop your capabilities with one of the world's largest IT companies and most recognised brands.

Principal Responsibilities:

·  Primarily in a technical pre-sales role, you will engage with clients in a technical capacity in order to maximize utilisation and revenue on the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure Cloud platform.
·  Take ownership of all client's technical requirements to ensure their full satisfaction in all transactions.
·  Most importantly you will need to act as a trusted advisor to your clients by helping to influence their decisions through your guidance and technical expertise.
·  Define, prioritise and expand potential business and agree on deployment plans with our clients
·  Build effective, strategic and productive business relationships with key decision makers within the client organisation.
·  Achieve utilisation, expansion and revenue targets

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Qualification and Experience
·  You will have 3+ years technical sales experience within a technology environment with a demonstrated knowledge of IT architecture
·  Server and Storage experience is key, including Windows and Linux at the OS level
·  Security and Networking: ideally Cisco or equivalent certifications, scripting experience is a bonus.
·  A good knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware, XEN, Hyper-V and KVM
·  You will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
·  You also must have a good level of spoken and written English.
