Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Service Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients’ success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.
As Security specialist you are responsible for Identity and access management (IAM) that covers products, processes, and policies used to manage user identities and regulate user access within an organization:
- Troubleshooting L1/L2 level issues such as user/admin rights provisioning, Privileged admin rights, server/system/app onboarding, audit logs, certification campaigns, event analysis, etc.
- IAM policy configuration, rules, RBAC management.
- Mandatory to hold experience working in any IGA or PIM/PAM product (Sailpoint, IBM, Saviynt, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Microfocus, CA, Thycotic, etc.)
- Converting certificates into different format based on requirement.
- Resolving issues/tickets related to certificate management (Only internal certificate)
- Performing daily health checks of all IAM products (BAU).
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly scheduled and on demand out of box reporting.
- Troubleshooting issues that are assigned via incident/Service requests.
- Working with end user to troubleshoot on any IAM related issues.
- Monitor the ticketing tool (SNOW/Jira etc..) and ensure to respond and resolve the incidents as per the SLAs.
- Contribute to SOPs/Runbook/KEDB in keeping process & documentation up to date.
- Ready to work in 24×7 shifts
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· previous experience in Identity and Access Management / Privilege Access Management.
· Hands on experience with any IAM products like Sailpoint, IBM, Saviynt, Cyberark, Beyond Trust, Microfocus, CA or similar.
· Good to have experience working on various application protocols (SAML, OpenID) – SSO
· Knowledge on any programming/scripting languages (Java/Javascript/VBScript/Powershell, etc.)
· Exposure of LDAP/AD, SSH, RDP, HTTP
· Basic understanding of Database and Queries
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· One or more security certifications CEH, Security+, GSEC, CISSP, etc
· Hands on experience working with Microsoft Azure, AWS or other public Cloud technologies.
