Job description
The ISMA sales leader is responsible for the sales and achievement of Managed Application business plan and achieving the sales and bookings target for territory assigned. She/he will be responsible for enabling the broader sales organization in assigned territory to identify opportunities and also support and lead sales closures.
The Position will be located in Thailand covering ASEAN countries
The ISMA Service line is a high growth Business for IBM. This involves selling the offerings of our enterprise applications on to cloud platform(s). The ISMA offering portfolio includes Managed SAP & Oracle Enterprise application environments on cloud, and Edge Delivery Networks.
The ISMA sales Leader will also drive consumption of IBM Cloud Platform services and technologies by applying broad and up to date technical expertise and business acumen in an enterprise solution sales environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities
· You will work closely with suctioning solution design and delivery teams to ensure offering is designed rightly to be delivered to the agreed objectives. The ISMA leader takes on the lead role of building and executing the key partnership strategy with alliance partners like SAP etc.
· You will have a dotted line relationship with APAC ISMA leader and will work closely with APAC to secure attention and support to ASEAN.
· You will also be engaged in shaping the deal strategy of the key ISMA deals in the markets closely engaging with the sales teams on the ground.
· You need to have in-depth knowledge of the managed application market and will work collaboratively with GBS (Global Business Services) and other partner programs as launched and made ready to your markets by APAC and WW
· You will anticipate, create and define innovative sales strategies to generate demand and pipeline through the larger IBM organization. In doing so you will be responsible to develop account planning and bookings quota plans that are part of your assigned territory across various offerings that contribute to ISMA revenue.
· You will constantly focus on the competitive environment and feedback to IBM APAC, to retain and gain market share superiority. You will also be responsible for creating markets rather than a fulfilling latent demand.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or other popular Professional Engineering degree with 1 st class GPA / scores. MBA is prefferable.
· 8-10 years experience in Managed Services Sales and Direct Sales
· At least 5 years of experience in Cloud services, SAP, as part of leading system integration services organizations in your local markets.
· Demonstrated experience in engaging C-suite among clients
· Familiar with ASEAN market and able to travel to client locations in different countries
· Demonstrated Ability to visualize and articulate the cloud value proposition of ISMA solutions, viz AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud certification would be required.
· Demonstrated Ability to visualize and articulate the business benefits and value proposition of Managed services solutions to client using client accepted commercial TCO analysis methods – using base case creation, variable sizing and pricing methods, transformative value development techniques.

· Demonstrated Ability to envisage clients business criticality to collect requirements for brownfield migrations to ISMA solutions portfolio and work closely with cloud migration teams to develop risk free, service disruption free migrations to ISMA.
· Demonstrated and verifiable understanding of various SAP and Oracle ERP techno-functional value proposition and how they interact or impact customer business processes.
