IBM is seeking to hire a Hybrid Cloud Digital Sales Representative (DSR) to join our Littleton, MA based sales team. In this role, the candidate will be working within the Public Sector market and is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, nurturing and executing (via business partners) to commercial accounts in the East Region and Central USA to exceed objectives. The candidate will also be responsible for up to the moment documentation of SalesConnect (CRM) as it relates to opportunity maturity and forecasting, contact details and business impact scenarios which equate to highly accurate forecasts. The IBM Commercial Cloud team is a strategic investment by the company and is highly visible role. Success in this group can transcend to other roles as careers develop.
The successful candidate will conduct business planning alongside of Digital Development Representatives (DDR) and others to assure high quality lead generation which are passed to business partner community. A working and conversation knowledge of communications companies and industry issues is preferred. The successful candidate will possess a strong business phone personality and the ability to listen to prospects that are communicating via email, social or virtual means. They will have at least 2 years' experience SaaS & hybrid cloud technologies and understand API trends (stitching disparate systems together)
Additional Responsibilities:
· A well-rounded view of technical applications and industry trends around messaging, content management, application servers and hybrid cloud solutions for both new and existing IBM prospects.
· Work with executive teams and management as it collates directly to the transition to digital sales, other than the external business partner; this role is the next touch point for most commercial prospects.
· Well versed and have experience in digital marketing, business automation and process management within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device makers, life sciences services and some appreciation for government agencies trends.
· Real time sales process activity documentation and next steps record keeping as well as key contact, close dates, sequence of events to closure and forecasting metrics. Key Attributes:

· Collaborative phone persona and ability to relate to prospects and business partners via digital methods (web bweb-baseding tools, phone, email, social networks etc)

· Demonstrated ability to actively listen and determine customer needs
· Exhibited interpersonal and verbal communication skills
