Job description

As a Health Informatics Expert across both the BEST contracts, the candidate will assist the project team leadership with management of vendor data sources to expand CBER capabilities with respect to electronic health data sources, infrastructure, methods, and tools and; 2) to conduct surveillance and epidemiologic studies that promote OBE's mission to assure the safety and effectiveness of biologic products including vaccines, blood and blood products, tissues and advanced therapeutics. This will include managing client and stakeholder relationships, strategic planning, federal policy and contributing to regulation compliance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience leading teams and managing projects.
·  15+ years implementing and managing the operational and strategic direction of complex projects across government and commercial healthcare vendors.
·  Minimum 15 years' experience in a Healthcare-related industry.
·  Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and claims data.
·  Strong knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
·  Strong understanding of postmarket surveillance.
·  Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare-related area of study.
