Hardware Design Engineer for zMidas

Job description

A logic designer, the candidate will code in VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL) complex functions (like Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) and PBU) for the z system, use designer SIM to Prevalidate this before handing this off to verification to validate the design, work close with the physical design and timing team to ensure timing targets are meet. Candidate will work with all areas to meet the requirements for the design to be released to manufacturing. After manufacturing, designer will assist with BUP, debug of floor fails, potentially travel to vendor of PCIe PHY to debug.
