The IBM WH GHHS Product Development Team based in Dublin has six Early Professional Hire opportunities across our Product Suite. If you are looking to leverage your education and develop a range of skills and experience to support your future career we welcome your application.
You will work as part of a team of 300+ engineers, designers and technical product managers across our Product Development organisation in Dublin.
We are actively seeking talented candidates for the role of Designer
As a Watson Health Product UX designer, you will own and be responsible for our end user experience. You will work will all members of the development team to uncover end user needs, articulate problems and opportunities and solution them. They strive for perfection and simplicity through continuous iteration and refinement.
General Responsibilities:
• Works as part of an agile software development team
• Translates requirements into solutions.
• Assesses requirements for completeness and accuracy and works with requirement providers to close issues and gaps.
Designer
• Plans and conducts user research, usability testing and competitor analysis.
• Conducts design thinking workshops.
• Creates wireframes and high fidelity prototypes to test designs / solutions.
• Delivers design specifications and artefacts to development for implementation.
• Understands user psychology and motivations.
• Creates and presents user journey maps, conceptual models and flow diagrams.
• Works with business to inform and contribute to the overall product vision and product backlog.
Suitable individuals will be required to have the following:
• Bachelor's degree in visual design or closely related field
• Portfolio/work samples at varying fidelity (show your process)
• Ability to produce quick, low-fidelity sketches and sleek, high fidelity visuals on tight schedules

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Suitable individuals will be required to have the following:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
