What the role involves :
In the Application Innovation Consultant role you will learn how to solve clients' business and technology challenges focusing especially on cloud solutions. You will be part of the Cloud Application Innovation team and we are on a mission to take our clients on a journey going from automation and preventive maintenance, through simplification and modernization, to investing in cognitive, Bluemix, Agile and API management services; all in the context of cloud.

Your role will introduce you to our method Build on Cloud, amongst others. We expect you to learn and adopt agile, design thinking, coding, continuous delivery and application management principles. You will also be developing on our Bluemix platform in different types of projects, such as modernize for cloud, migrate to cloud and other application enhancement projects.

Requirements:

Required Degree: Bachelor
Preferred Degree: Master

English language: Fluent
Norwegian language: Fluent

As an Application Innovation Graduate at IBM you need:

·  Demonstrated history of achievement in academics, internships, course work, coops and/or work experience
·  Passion for technology
·  Coding experience in languages such as java, javascript, phyton
·  Experience using open source frameworks like node.js, angular, bootstrap
·  Enthusiasm towards innovation
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to work independently and in a team environment
·  Eagerness to embrace change and take on new challenges
·  Thorough and analytical mindset, with capability to apply logic to solve problems
·  Passion for providing solutions to challenging problems
·  Dedication to client success
·  Passion for leadership
·  Ability to travel to clients in all parts of the country
·  Interest in working for a large globally integrated enterprise
