Job description

  Sourcing Buyer and Contract Manager responsible for AP/global supplier management, manage the supplier relationship and perform its related negotiation, contract management.
·  Has comprehensive understanding of client processes and able to apply knowledge to negotiations.
·  Be able to lead global projects. Strong skill at project management and capability to drive team for successful business result.
·  Set up active interface with internal clients. Be able to help clients find out innovative approach for best cost solution.
·  Be the 1st escalation point for AP GLP Team. Be able use the stronger negotiation skill and richer knowledge to help team member solve escalation issues.
·  Has capability to set up/simply/optimize business process, and be able to ensure 100% business control requirement
·  Good at data analysis and be able to use the analysis result providing recommendation for business decision.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  minimum 3 years of Procurement knowledge
·  minimum 3 years of Supplier management experience
·  Basic project management skills
·  Logistics experience would be of an advantage
·  Familiar with India or Australia logistics market would be of advantage
·  Used to working in environment using a number of social media and other communication tools
·  Knowledge of IBM Procurement tools, eg Emptoris, Procure to Pay process
·  Experience in interacting with Procurement Operations Centre is of advantage.
·  Excellent English communication skills
