Job description
IBM Research is looking for an advanced degree student (M.Sc or Ph.d.) for a summer internship position to join us on advanced research at the intersection of game theory, algorithmic game theory and multi agent reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities
· Design and develop complex models and algorithms for enabling decision making in multi-party, real world settings
· Prove theoretical results
· Design, implement and analyze empirical experiments intended to test the algorithms.
· Demonstrate scientific eminence by publishing the results of your work in leading scientific journals and conferences and by filing patents
· Advocate for your ideas and collaborate with other research scientists and engineers to design the best solution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Studying towards an advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Game Theory, Operations Research, or other related scientific discipline
Strong background in one or more of the following topics: Game theory, algorithmic game theory, and multi agent reinforcement learning
Demonstrated ability in proving theoretical results, and/or designing, implementing and analyzing numerical experiments.
Proficiency in at least one major programming language (C/C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.)
Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
