Full Stack Developer – CICS (Customer Information Control System)

Job description

We are seeking outstanding Full Stack software development talent to specialise in the development of new capability in the CICS Transaction Server for z/OS product and to ensure that all updates that are released to our customers are of the highest quality. The successful candidate will join an agile development team that works closely with CICS clients to plan and implement new function in CICS
As a Full Stack developer, you will be part of a highly focused, self-managed team that designs, develops and tests insights into Z Systems and CICS workloads and applications. You will collaborate with designers in applying IBM Design Thinking methodology in software design based upon requirements gathered from stakeholders and Sponsor Users.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Expertise

·  At least 3 years of experience in software development.
·  At least 3 – 5 years of experience in Web technologies such as JavaScript framework (Angular2, React, Node, bootstrap), HTML5, CSS3.
·  At least 3 – 5 years of experience in Java and REST API development.
·  Strong experience working with NoSQL technologies.
·  Knowledge of and experience in machine learning methodologies.
·  Knowledge of and experience in implementing cognitive solutions.
·  5 years of experience in Agile software development methodologies.
·  3 years of experience leading a development team.
·  Basic z/OS administrative knowledge.
