FSS Architect

Job description

At IBM we're looking for a results-driven and results-oriented professional who is interested in working with cutting edge technologies in transforming enterprise IT landscapes of top-tier Russian and International banks in Russian Federation and CIS. The IBM Architect creates and maintains trusted relationships with Technical and Business decision makers from client side.

Responsibilities:

develop an overall solution context, a set of solution requirements, and a description of the existing application architecture, IT infrastructure, recommend alternatives for allocation of business functions to architecture components which can be used to evaluate and select specific system components;
design and elaborate the functional architecture to meet those requirements in term of maintainability, extensibility, usability, performance, reliability and self-recovery;
architect functional aspects of solutions to meet the operational, security, and non-functional requirements;
critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the application and prepares for the development of the application by evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools;
participation in business development activities and should be able to represent company interests.

Requirements:

Language: Russian fluent, English (technical, ability to freely read technical documentation and basic level of communication);
Experience with real commercial projects in the role of lead developer and/or product/solution architect. Software architecture design experience not less than 3 years;
Project management or team leading skills;
Project technical viability assessment, assessment of the technical risks associated with the solution;
Enterprise application development experience of not less than 3 years;
Experience in development of distributed multi-threaded systems;
Experience in design of high-performance, high-availability, scalable real-time systems;
Java programming experience of not less than 5 years;
Knowledge of several technology stacks for web applications (Java, .NET, AngularJS, NodeJS, Kendo UI Webix, etc.);
Knowledge of common web application protocols (HTTP, REST, SOAP, TCP/IP, Web Sockets);
Good knowledge of SQL and DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL);
Deep understanding of the principles of design and development of large software systems (OOP, OOA, OOD, DDD, TDD, MVC, design patterns, SOA, etc.);
Sound knowledge of architecture design toolkit (UML, etc.);
Knowledge of legislation in the area of information security and personal data protection;
Good presentation and communication skills, ability to convey ideas quickly and unambiguously;
