Your Role and Responsibilities

·  User Interface Design and Development: Focus on user interface design and development using React JS or similar, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge management features.
·  Design Systems and Testing Patterns: Utilize design systems and testing patterns to ensure the development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
·  Collaborative Development: Work closely with Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Offering Managers in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary squad environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We are looking for an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to work with IBM Research scientists in the following areas:
·  Implementing Responsive Designs: Take the helm in translating designs into responsive masterpieces, ensuring an optimal user experience that seamlessly adapts to diverse devices. Your role is pivotal in bringing design visions to life with precision and finesse.
·  Developing Reusable UI/UX Components: Pioneer the development of reusable UI/UX components, contributing to the creation of a robust design system. Your focus on efficiency and consistency will be instrumental in elevating the overall quality and coherence of our applications.
·  Compliance with Web Standards: Uphold the gold standard in web development by ensuring strict compliance with industry best practices and standards. Your commitment to excellence will be reflected in web solutions that are not just functional but set a benchmark for quality and adherence.
·  University-level degree on computer science, software engineering, information systems or equivalent.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Front-End Software Development Experience: Proven track record in front-end software development, showcasing your expertise in shaping user interfaces.
·  Proficiency in Key Technologies: Mastery in React JS, Redux, and Typescript, highlighting your proficiency in these essential front-end technologies.
·  Diverse Skill Set: Experience with UI build tools, web application frameworks, REST APIs, and a solid foundation in agile methodologies.
·  Additional Experience: With cloud-native technologies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps tools is highly preferred.
·  Master or MBA in Software Engineering, User Experience, Design, or equivalent.
