The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.

As a UI/UX Designer/Front-end Developer, you will work with Design Researchers, Visual Designers, and Developers to ensure that everything you do is supported and guided by research, and is both realistic and implementable. You will work closely with design team members, product management and engineering to identify user pain points and needs. Other responsibilities include the following.

·  Developing(coding) outstanding UI/UX using current and evolving technologies
·  Delivering Agile product development using Agile methodologies
·  Integrating the results of user research and user testing into evolving version releases
·  Coordinating with clients and managing the project as necessary

Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Expert-level JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills and the ability to own best practices of performance, security, accessibility, and usability – 4 years
·  Experience building reusable modular JavaScript components - 2 years
·  Good understanding of cross browser / device testing and debugging techniques – 1 year
·  Familiarity with all aspects of MVC web applications, well-versed with at least one of the MV and UI frameworks – 1 year
