Financial Systems Warehouse Developer (z/OS, DB2, SQL, JCL, QMF )

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for our growing Financial Systems area. We're looking for an enthusiastic application developer to help us support and enhance our Consolidation Accounting portfolio. The data warehousing systems supported by the team are critical to IBM accounting business processes and a central data sources for IBM financial data.
The development team uses Agile Practices and IBM Design Thinking to drive customer success, deliver holistic product experiences, and tackle new and exciting challenges. The team works in an agile open space, using physical and virtual tools to collaborate and manage their work. The secret to success is our people and culture.

Job Duties:
·  Collaborate with your teammates and interact with our product owners
·  Analyze customer or product owners needs and deliver solutions to meet those needs
·  Provide ongoing steady state support and maintenance of the data warehouse
·  Participate in design, development, review and test efforts for enhancements
·  Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues Successful candidates will have the following work habits

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship

Minimum Requirements:
·  3+ years' experience in in systems support, application development and/or integration
·  2+ years' experience in the following: z/OS, DB2, SQL, JCL, QMF
·  Fluent English Preferred Requirements:
·  Experience developing technical solutions from new business requirements
·  Financial Planning and/or Accounting experience
·  Experience in working with agile teams
·  Experience in the following technical areas: PL1, C/C++, TSO/ISPF, MQ Series,
