IBM Field Marketing & Communications (Field M&C) represents IBM in the market. They work with our global clients, partners, and the media, as well as engaging with sellers and the local level. The Field Activation Unit within Field M&C supports the Field M&C community to successfully plan and execute to achieve their objectives. As part of Field Activation, Field Insights provide data-driven market context to inform decision making across Field Marketing and Communication.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This role will support our teams in our Geographies with annual and quarterly planning and initiatives aligned to key priorities by providing relevant market context that needs to be considered as part of the planning process, this includes assessment of impact of the macro environment, technology market and competition that could impact IBM positioning and marketing execution.

In this role you will leverage your data analysis/science and data visualization skills to assist in automating access to data, and visualize data to showcase IBM relative to the market. Your skills will be used to ensure we democratize access to relevant market data in a way that is easy consumable and understandable for Field M&C Professionals.

Responsibilities include:
·  Understand IBM’s access to external data and where best it can be applied.
·  Enable self-help/automation service for stakeholders through development of relevant tools providing access to data sources.
·  Leveraging IBM’s access to external data, visualize the data to ensure easy consumption and application – using tools like tableau.
·  Support specific priority initiatives with secondary market research.
·  Engage with key stakeholders to understand needs related to external market and translate this into key deliverables, work as part of a team to meet these deliverables.
·  Drive awareness of key deliverables and capabilities of the team across a broad stakeholder group. This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  3+ data science/data analysis and visualization
·  Sound knowledge of data visualization tools like. Tableau
·  Project Management
·  Experience in working in B2B Technology environment.

·  Strong critical thinking skills
·  GenAI / Prompt Engineering
·  Strong ability to scope and deliver an analytical project
