FEOL Process Integration Engineer

Job description
We are seeking a Front-end-of-line Integration engineer to work in a highly multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural IBM alliance in Albany, NY, who can develop and implement process integration solutions required for advanced technology nodes. Main responsibility will include performing Research and Development in the area of front-end-of-the-line semiconductor process integration solving complex interactions between lithography, plasma etch, wets. dry clean and metallization techniques. Further responsibilities will include (i) optimizing the process conditions, recipes and flow sequence required to meet the needs for future technologies and (ii) Drive cross-functional interactions with peers in order to prepare technical roadmaps related to front-end-of-the-line technology solutions. Occasional responsibilities include designing electrically testable macros for test vehicle creation using industry standard layout software and evaluating the layouts using TCAD and emulation software.
You should have a majority of the following skills:
- Hands on experience in front end of the line (FEOL) process integration for semiconductor technology in advanced nodes like 14 nm/10 nm/7 nm technology
- In depth knowledge of novel materials and processes for FEOL technology
- Extensive experience with interpreting failure analysis from multiple techniques
- Experience performing rigorous quantitative analysis of electrical data to interpret experimental results
- Strong analytical and communication skills to draft manuscripts for world class journals and conferences
- Hands on experience in computer aided numerical analysis and modeling such as TCAD and emulation
- Hands on experience in design/review of circuit layout
You must be willing to work onsite at the following location: Albany, NY
Masters (Ph. D. preferred) degree in EE/MS/CE/Phys/Chem or a related area is required.
