Introduction
External Relations professionals promote, protect, and enhance IBM's reputation by proactively creating compelling messaging and differentiated positioning with key external stakeholders including media, IT analysts, investors, policymakers/influencers, and clients/prospects. They collaborate with other IBM organizations to articulate and effectively communicate IBM's value proposition. They also develop communications plans, strategies, and messaging that help the company's mission, and help arm the sales and business partner organizations with messages and success stories that promote and differentiate IBM's reputational attributes including performance, innovation, citizenship, leadership, workplace, products/services, and governance. External Relations Professionals use insights and data on what their audiences think, feel and say about IBM to positively influence IBM's reputation, consideration and relevancy. This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week.
