Your Role and Responsibilities
The Event Services Centre (ESC) Event Specialist provides key services and consulting for client facing events. By partnering with the Event Strategists, on assigned events, the Event Specialist works to ensure event compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities include:
·  Proactive partnership with Event Strategist
·  Accountable for specific events, projects or programs involving multi-functional teams.
·  Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources.
·  Understands department/ functional mission and vision.
·  Regularly participates in overall functional event planning.
·  Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
·  Regularly demonstrates discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to IBM Event Marketing.
·  Ensure all documentation is obtained for audit readiness according to Global Event Process (GEP)
·  Activities are subject to business measurements, impact client satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses of events.
·  Utilises expertise to directly influence people outside department or function. Sometimes no precedent exists.
·  Advises other event marketing professionals.
·  Communicate business value to key stakeholders.
·  Effectively utilise group dynamics.
·  Negotiates to define approaches and goals.
·  Analyses situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes.
·  Provides ongoing technical/operational guidance to lead professional work teams or conducts special projects. INCHQ_23

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Deep knowledge of the overall Global Event Process (GEP)
·  Deep knowledge of sub GEP processes: Data Privacy (GDPR), CTEBA, Logo License Agreements, Response and Lead Management.
·  Deep knowledge of event tools (Airtable, Event workspace, EDIT, Integrate, RainFocus, NPS)
·  Constant learner: consistently expanding knowledge to gain new skills and expertise.
·  Good listener who is detail oriented and proactive.
·  Responsible team player demonstrating ownership and accountability.
·  Ability to manage many projects/tasks at once.
·  Strong organisational skills
