As a DataStage Specialist at IBM, you'll team with some of the best minds in the industry to create innovative high quality solutions focused on clients' business needs. You'll do this using your systems knowledge and expertise to design and model applications, develop application solutions, and integrate them with custom solutions, COTS software or packaged applications.
The DataStage Specialist is responsible for:
- Working with clients to understand their data needs
- Moving data from the operational & external environments to the business intelligence environment utilizing for example DataStage (formerly Ascential) - IBM's WebSphere Data Integration Suite, Informatica, BigInsights, Pentaho or other vendors
- Working with data warehouses, data marts and operational data stores

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 3 years of experience with InfoSphere DataStage versions 9.1 or higher with overall DW Architecture and Best practices.
· At least 5 years of experience in working with Data warehousing mainly with writing Source to target mappings (STMs), creating ETL maps, PL/SQL to load Target Dimension and Fact tables, Job scheduling, troubleshooting performance issues for large implementations.
