Entry-Level Analytics Consulting Services Developer

IBM's Analytics Hybrid Data Management Services team is seeking a Consulting Services Developer.

You will be responsible for building solutions based on the Hybrid Data Management product portfolio (Hadoop, BigSQL, DB2, ECM). Our projects typically cover the entire end-to-end development process, from requirements gathering and solution design, customization and code development to final user acceptance testing, go-live and post production support. IBM and our clients, are increasingly relying on cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

You will show demonstrated personal initiative to fulfill demanding customer requirements and meet tight deadlines. You should have experience programming in Java, C#, Python and/or JavaScript, and good problem solving skills. Data Science skills are a plus as is familiarity with containers, container management and micro services. Also, you will be introduced to existing tools and processes used to deliver Analytics solutions and will gain a deep understanding of IBM products as well as modern solution development processes. This position is an excellent starting point for a career as a solution architect, product developer or client representative.

Additional responsibilities include:
·  Meeting with clients to understand business requirements
·  Participate in solution design and test case creation
·  Assist in developing, testing and implementing Analytics solutions
·  Support client's during final testing and at solution go-live
·  Create solution documentation The work location will be IBM's Research Triangle Park facility, but client site work will be required. You have to be willing to travel up to 50%, initially with focus on North America, but international trips may also be required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related area is required.
