1. Are you an experienced sales person who can identify opportunities, manage them through the sales cycle, build relationships with clients while ensuring satisfaction and manage accounts end to end?
2. Can you exceed quarterly targets while helping clients achieve goals?
3. Can you sell on value and handle objections?
4. Can you multitask and prioritise your business to achieve results?
5. Can you manage a defined territory within a large multinational who can provide a lasting rewarding career?

If your answer is yes to all 5 questions, we would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about joining our growing team of like-minded sales professionals. We will offer you the opportunity to manage a territory with clearly defined targets which you will update sales leaders on a weekly basis to track progression. You will work both with IBM teams and independently, rapidly assuming direct responsibility for maximizing existing and new business opportunities, in a particular specialised IT area.

IBM will provide sales training to improve your sales skills and provide mentors to ensure you develop to reach your full potential.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a defined territory or client set and reach or overachieve targets and goals.
Working with various sources you will develop new sales opportunities and drive them to closure.
Through continuous personal development you will become a subject matter expert and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your clients.
Account management activities such as pricing contract entitlement, invoicing queries and aged debt will form part of the role.
You are expected to have a social media presence to promote the brand, engage, interact and influence your clients.
You are expected to find a resolution if you encounter an obstacle when generating business and manage to resolution.
You will need to have personal drive and ambition to make you stand out.
You will need to build your network of contacts both within IBM and your client base, making yourself the go to person for your specific field.
You will need to take personal interest in everything you do, putting your client first, being prepared to take on challenges, solve problems and work with your team to get things done.
You must have strong communication skills and be able to present complex concepts, designs and solutions, verbally and visibly.

Qualifications and Experience

You must have a proven track record of 2-3 years sales, preferably in IT, as well as demonstrated account management.
You must have demonstrated skills in sales pipeline progression and forecasting , using CRM systems.
You have an excellent Social Media presence and can demonstrate how you use social media tools in your sales role.
You will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
A high level of energy, initiative and commitment is required to enable you to work in a fast moving and challenging environment.
You will be able to show evidence of your professional development through courses, certification forums etc.
You must have native or near native level of English as well as an extensive cultural awareness of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
