As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you build, test and optimize digital initiatives to drive engagement and high quality responses to achieve business results. You develop digital plans and execute creative ideas based on experience, analytics, market and client insight as well as run tests and optimize to increase effectiveness. You deliver relevant messaging to the right audience, integrating the latest digital tools and techniques, making it easy for clients to do business with us. In this role, the individual will:
· Define a holistic digital strategy based on portfolio value proposition
· Execute, report on and continuously optimize digital marketing campaigns.
· De-construct competitive best practices in digital marketing from leading brands.
· Create and manage user and A/B tests using Optimizely and other testing platforms.
· Liaise and partner with disparate teams across the company who are engaged in creating the future of IBM through digital innovations.
Role Specific Responsibilities
· Digital strategy - putting together a strategy inclusive of organic, paid and outbound Marketing tactics
· Building and executing paid media campaigns; paid search, content syndication and re-targeting
· Design, build and maintain social media presence
· Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
· Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
· Collaborate with internal teams to improve IBM Web presence and optimize user experience
· Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
· Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with user experience design, content strategy, SEO and other areas of digital marketing. Primary teams this role works with:
The person will work with the Canadian marketing team, and interlock with the North America and Global Digital Marketing Teams.
