Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Security Digital Sales Specialists (DSS) are part of the IBM Digital Sales team, responsible for the Security portfolio offerings and are accountable for creating opportunities in a specific set of clients or specific territory, while working with a Business Partner to progress opportunities to close.
· The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for driving optimal customer technology outcomes and achieving strategic objectives for their respective brand. Proactively hunt for new opportunities using prospecting skills and digital tools and work closely with Technical Specialists and Business Partners to achieve territory objectives.
· Drive Territory prospecting strategy, deal creation and progression and closure of deals for the Security portfolio. You should carry business level conversations focused on transformation and Return on Investment, possess strong communication and presentation skills, stay relevant with up-to-date product knowledge, leverage market leads and execute marketing cadences using digital research, digital tools and social selling platforms.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Spanish language native level.
· Sales experience.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, equally engaging, compelling and influential.
· Preferred proven track record of success in technology sales, with emphasis on new client acquisition.
· Preferred demonstrable application of business and commercial acumen, communicated at all levels, to show the operational impact and financial value of technological solutions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the Security market in order to consult and advise, and quickly grow your reputation as your clients' credible, trusted advisor. (Training on IBM's Security offerings is provided).
