Introduction
As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team – advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team – advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.
· Proactively hunts for new opportunities to sell selected products
· Delivers unique, incremental revenue/value and leverage Business Partners to achieve territory objectives
· Collaborate with your team/squad members (Digital Technical Specialist (DTS), Sales Development Rep (SDR), etc. on the territory plan
· Create a specific white space plan to develop and win new clients
· Deal progression and co-sales with / lead pass to business partner for focused set of offerings (including both new clients and existing clients)
· Partners with clients to co-create solutions leveraging assigned offerings / product
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Security Market Expertise: Security market knowledge to be a trusted advisor to clients (training on IBM's security offerings is provided).
· Consultative Sales Proficiency: Consultative tech sales experience.
· Digital Sales Expertise: Proficiency in digital sales tools and techniques.
· Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical ability to drive business decisions with data.
· Prospecting Skills (Hunter Skills) to identify new opportunities within existing territory and new logos (whitespace).
