Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

Your primary responsibilities include:
· Working with a multi-disciplinary team to design technical solutions required to support business transformations and articulating proposed solutions in business terms demonstrating technical effectiveness.
· Managing or executing specific project deliverables and scope to ensure project schedules & timelines are respected.
· Have architectural oversight to provide solutions, technical guidance and functional specifications based on business requirements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
To be successful in this role you will bring
· Knowledge of the Digital Engineering / Digital Manufacturing domains
· Experience of architecture and design of the Siemens Teamcenter application
· Experience integrating Product Lifecycle Management systems to other external systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Reporting and Analytics systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
· Ability to define all components of a technical solution including data model, integrations, software configuration and associated system infrastructure.
· Experience with designing solutions within software and/or interfaces. Managing workshops to analyse data and system issues for resolution.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience in your chosen sector e.g. Automotive, Aerospace & Defence; Environment, Energy & Utilities, Consumer Packaged Goods, Distribution and Public Sectors
· Experience of working with Digital Engineering / Digital Manufacturing / Cloud technologies and platform.
· Experience integrating Product Lifecycle Management systems to other external systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Reporting and Analytics systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
· Have the ability to identify client requirements and be able to provide architectural options, alternatives, rationales, and recommendations/solution evaluations
