Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an amazing Devops Engineer Intern for a role with a growth opportunity!

Databand (an IBM company) is the leading data observability platform for modern enterprises that's built by engineers for engineers.

Our mission is to help organizations build better data products and trust in their data. We do that by providing data teams comprehensive visibility into the health of their data pipelines using our SDK and complex monitoring and impact detection platform. Thanks to our deep monitoring they can gain confidence in their quality data and respond proactively to new issues.

We want you to join Databand team (The Band) and help us with building a product for fellow engineers, using a cutting-edge technological stack and the highest engineering standards.

As a Devops Engineer in Databand, you will:
·  Create a top notch monitoring system for our SaaS and on-prem applications
·  Build a robust zero-downtime cloud solution that fellow engineers can relay on
·  Work on a Secure supply chain and cloud environment
·  Use the latest cloud provides including Google Cloud Services, AWS, Azure and IBM cloud
·  Deploy and support both SaaS and self-hosted systems using Kubernetes, docker-compose, Open shift, and latest container orchestration tools
·  Work on our CI\\CD, release and deployment cycle using tools like Gitlab, Github Enterprise and ArgoCD

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
·  Familiarity with Devops or SRE roles, working on SaaS applications
·  Familiarity with production Kubernetes
·  Familiarity with Python or other OOP language
·  Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating system and command line tools
·  Business orientation - understanding the value of the features you are working on and take the right technological decisions to achieve the value.
