Software Defined Networking (SDN) Business unit focuses on software based networking, an architecture approach that enables network to be intelligently and centrally controlled using software, everywhere from the data center to the campus to the edge.

The NS1 Connect Platform provides the rock solid Managed DNS and dynamic Traffic Steering capabilities for the modern hybrid network. We're connecting audiences to applications, and we're looking for engineers to help drive innovation harnessing the DNS.

We are seeking a Build Engineer / DevOps engineer to provide developer enablement expertise to our engineering team.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Ideally, you’ll bring experience with
·  A customer focused attitude toward the engineering team, partnering with engineers to resolve build and deployment challenges.
·  An Automation mindset with a bias to action.
·  Experience defining and managing CI pipelines for SaaS applications.
·  Experience with cloud deployment practices in AWS or GPC or Azure.
·  Experience with distributed containerized application deployments.
·  Knowledge and experience in make, bash and python scripting.
·  Ability to work in a team that is distributed globally.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Expert in Container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).
·  Experience with Jenkins, Github Actions, or similar CI tools.
·  Few years of experience with SCM.
·  Demonstrated experience with managing multiple development/build environments including local, integration and production.
·  Experience building software to contribute into the development/enhancement of the build system.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with Github Actions or Jenkins build pipelines.
