Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Db2 Warehouse on Cloud is seeking talented Devops Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore and Kochi. IBM® Db2® Warehouse on Cloud is a fully-managed, elastic cloud data warehouse. The skills required include sound knowledge of Agile Development practices, Microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and GoLang programming skills, CI/CD pipelines. Our ideal candidates must have demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills to develop, debug and maintain microservices on container-based products in Cloud environments. They should have a passion for technology and software, teaming skills, able to work in a driven environment and exhibit creative thinking and collaboration while communicating effectively.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
·  Developing new features in GoLang, Python in Db2 Warehouse on
·  Cloud offering
·  Debug production issues
·  Design, build, deploy, support and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines
·  running automation jobs
·  Deployment and maintenance of Infrastructure servers and services
·  Automation and documentation of repeating tasks

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  GoLang
·  Python
·  Familiarity with Cloud providers like AWS, IBM Cloud
·  Kubernetes, Docker
·  Git/Github enterprise
·  Jenkins
·  Shell scripting

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Openshift
·  Travis, Tekton or other CI tools
·  Agile Development process
