Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer in the Data and Analytics organization, you bring passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices in Public and Hybrid Cloud environments. You are a problem solver at heart with a passion and drive to innovate and disrupt the current status quo on how to accomplish a task, resulting in automating and optimizing the DevOps workflow.

Key responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to:
• Serving as a technical team member in the development team, customer engagements, and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project’s success.
• Implementing containerized workflows using technologies such as Kubenetes, Docker, Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, Travis CI , and other open-source solutions.
• Diagnosing environmental issues and introduce/implement technologies to solve them.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in Development/Automation
• Experience working with, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with such technologies as Jenkins, Travis, Git
• Experience using & building containers and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
• Experience in one or more of the following: Python / Shell Scripting
• Experience working with infrastructure as code like Ansible
• Linux administration skills, preferably in Debian and RHEL
• Strong problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with distributed application concepts and highly scalable platforms is a plus
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Python package management systems like conda, mamba is a plus
• Familiarity with methodologies for improving quality standards and automation
