Job description

The latest coronavirus epidemic has created widespread need to find a COVID-19 solution. IBM is taking steps to help hospitals, sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), and research and development institutions in China that are researching novel coronavirus drugs and conducting related clinical trials. Your Role and Responsibilities - perform IT Operations activities related to building automation, performing DevOps toolchain deployments, debugging deployment issues, monitoring and supporting the production environment, triaging problems as they arise.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Strong background in Kubernetes, such as IBM Cloud Private, OpenShift
·  Experience with cloud automation technologies e.g. Terraform, Ansible etc.
·  Extensive RedHat Linux experience
·  Advanced professional proficiency in English
·  Experience with systems and cloud monitoring techniques and technologies
·  Advanced scripting skills in Python, Perl, Bash, Shell or another common language
·  Combination Experience with Git, Jenkins, Chef, ElasticSearch, PagerDuty, and New Relic
·  VMWare (preferred)
·  BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
