The center is located in the City Plaza complex, reachable easily by public transportation and offering a variety of content including cafes, restaurants, shops as well as a fitness center and kindergarten.

Your Role and Responsibilities
You are an experienced IT specialist for system integration and have current cloud knowledge. You will work in an interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute to migrate existing applications from Linux/AIX hosts to container or assist the dev team to build new applications running on the cloud. You will also be responsible of the used infrastructure (OpenShift and/or IBM Cloud).

Your daily tasks
·  You are responsible for building/maintaining OpenShift, Kubernetes, IBM Cloud and GitOps solutions.
·  Support Kubernetes projects during design and architecture phase, as well as during implementation/deployment/maintenance phase.
·  Drive migration projects of existing applications running on AIX/Linux into the appropriate cloud solution.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

Technical Skills:
·  Very good knowledge of Linux, RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes
·  Familiar with deployment management tools (e.g. Helm)
·  Container/K8s Security Best Practices
·  Experience in containerized application development/deployment
·  Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps (e.g. Git, Tekton Pipelines, ArgoCD)
·  Knowledge of Bash, Python, Golang, Rustlang, Javascript (client and server) and maybe Perl (to understand today's implementation) Non-Technical Tasks:
·  Problem Determination / Problem Source Identification /Fixing
·  Problem management
·  Action/Remediation plan creation General skills:
·  Good command of English language
·  Good Team player
·  Good negotiation skills Other requirements:
·  Apply maintenance and patches to Openshift/Kubernetes
·  On Call-Duty 7/24 support
