IBM GTS Labs is the technology labs for the largest business of IBM - Global Technology Services (GTS). Its mission is to transform GTS through software development and continuous delivery, establishing a User-centric Secure DevOps framework for GTS, developing and deploying advanced automation, creating and enhancing many service offerings, transforming clients with hybrid cloud, analytics, and cognitive capabilities, and building the IBM Services Platform with Watson. Who you are :

·  DevOps Architect who is highly skilled in automating and evangelizing SDLC with proven credentials in solving complex business problems
·  Deep understanding of Technology Architectures, Software Development Lifecycle, Application Lifecycle Management, Automation, Service Delivery & DevOps practices of Software Configuration Management, Continuous Everything (Integration, Delivery, Deployment, Testing, Monitoring), DevOps Analytics, Infrastructure as Code etc.

What you’ll do:

·  Assess, define, design, implement and transform DevOps initiatives for its clients
·  Automate using scripting language like Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, R language etc.
·  Build a DevOps culture into distributed teams Dev & Ops teams
·  Architecting and implementing of ‘Infrastructure as Code’ using any DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Urban Code Release, Maven, Sonarqube, Cobertura, Nexus, Kibana, Elastic search, Logs tach, Selenium, Nginx, Gerrit, MySQL, Chef, Ansible, puppet

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  8+ years of total experience with 3+ years of relevant experience in architecting, building and managing CI/CD workflows and complex system integrations
·  Thought leadership, out of box thinking and future readiness
·  Deep understanding and knowledge of offerings like Iaas, PaaS, SaaS, CaaS etc. Credentials in crafting any such offering will be an additional plus
·  Decision-making & analytical abilities.
·  Use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
·  Ability to code and script
·  Ability to use workbench tools to develop workflow
·  Ability to integrate multiple DevOps tool stack
·  Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
·  Deep understanding of automation tools
