Delivery Project Executive

Job description

IBM GBS is seeking to hire a Delivery Project Executive for its Energy Utility client,
responsible for providing the global IT direction of client PMO. through Agile leadership
and a commitment to stakeholders, directing IT investments towards business growth
while driving productivity into business processes, providing high quality services with
focus on the customer, accelerating simplification, delivering operational excellence, and
leading with creative problem solving and using technology.
It is a leadership role with significant go-to-Market as well as delivery responsibilities. This
specialty is responsible for leading and managing big program/project team(s) in
delivering a complex solution to the client which uses services and offerings from across
Service Lines for project, consulting and managed services. The role will be responsible for
managing project resources across multiple geographies, it includes assigning tasks ,
providing feedback, encouraging career development and recruitment. This role will
support IBM's GBS offerings that include, but are not limited to, digital reinvention,
interactive experience, smart operations, cognitive, connected devices and services and
digital strategy & E&U Offerings including Smart Metering and Beyond, IUN, Customer
Operation Transformation, Smart Grid and Solution architecture for Energy Utility.
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
- P&L Ownership , Grow the account and business, Client Relationship and CSAT
-Managing and leading large complex programs for client, across multiple geographies
-Assess market and competitive landscape of clients to understand client priorities and
identify opportunities for IBM to add value
-Develop thought capital to continuously evolve and enhance the value proposition for
IBM digital transformation offerings
-Establish and maintain trusted relationships with c-suite executives in client organizations
-Lead large digital transformation programs, providing business strategy, digital strategy,
social strategy to the client.
-Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to scope, solution, propose, close and deliver
complex engagements
-Manage staffing, recruitment, skill and capability matrix, setting up goals and objectives
for project resources.
-Assist in developing E&U Solution and assets to position IBM as trusted partner with
client companies
-Assist in vendor selection and vendor management including contract execution, invoice
payments.
-Manage and provide inputs on business case for the initiatives to client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Manage the P&L, manage and Build client Relationships, manage CSAT
Lead large Programs - Experience in managing and delivering complex
programs. across multiple geographies, in Energy & Utility space, ( generation,
transmission, distribution, retail). Certification in Project Management : PMI PMP
(6-8 Years)
Strong Agile Management skills: Experience in Agile transformation at enterprise level
and delivering programs and large solutions using agile methodology. Should be able to
manage Programs and Scrum teams . (8-10 Years)
Lead successful delivery of consulting engagements - Experience in managing large
business transformation programs, providing and building business strategy, marketing
strategy, digital strategy. Experience in Organization Change Management, and setting up
shared service model.(8-10Yrs)
Ability to manage multiple delivery engagements simultaneously, oversee large program
teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

Experience in delivering products using IBM SAFE( Solution Architecture for Energy Utility (5-7Yrs)
-Solid understanding of Security and ability to lead security audits using international standards ( ISO 27001 ) (2-3Yrs)
-Certification in ISO 27001
-Experience in of IBM DevOps , and IBM Urbancode & Rational tools or other competitor
tools for DevOps. (4-5Yrs)
-Experience in managing digital marketing using IBM Unica ,IBM Watson Personality
Insight and IBM Social Media Analytics tools (4-5Yrs)
-Strong understanding and experience in IBM Digital Offerings Digital reinvention,
Interactive experience, Digital Strategy ,Social strategy and Design Thinking (4-5Yrs)
-Experience in leading business strategy projects using IBM CBM (Component Business
modeling) for Energy Utility industry. (8-10Yrs)
-Experience in large enterprise IT transformation and IT strategy Projects using IBM
project management Processes (5-7Yrs)
