Job description

The Delinquency Management Team Lead is responsible, under the AVP of Delinquency Management for leading and coordinating the day to day activities of Delinquency Management staff assigned to Early Stage, Late Stage or Bilingual collections in compliance with state and client/investor. This position will process multiple tasks and drive to deadlines with attention to detail, and provide strong organizational and project management skills to the team.

Key Accountabilities:
·  Leads day to day staff operations related to Early Stage, Late Stage or Bilingual Delinquency management.
·  Evaluates department procedures and recommends changes to department leadership.
·  Monitor incentive compensation program and recommends changes if necessary.
·  Performs interim quality control checks for accuracy.
·  Reviews various month-end reports, exception reports, audits and internal control testing to ensure they are completed in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
·  Maintains and updates policies and procedures and desktop procedures for all department functions.
·  Acts as liaison with other departments and coordinates work flow as needed.
·  Reviews reports for accuracy and up-to-date information.
·  Leads group meetings to communicate issues, changes, company business, and department progress toward meeting goals.
·  Oversees staff training and assists in career development.
·  Completes special projects as assigned by management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
