Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is for an Engineer in the Defect Inspection and Characterization team to drive defect inspection implementation and yield improvement.
·  This Engineer will be responsible for data analysis of defect inspection data, daily readouts of inspection results, and weekly reports on yield paretos and step-up plans.
·  They will work with IBM engineers and vendors to setup defect inspections to identify yield issues, find root cause and drive process/design fixes to resolve issues.
·  This role will also involve interaction with equipment vendors to evaluate new tool capabilities and identify areas for collaboration and inspection optimization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with data analysis and presenting to technical audience (2 years)
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong written and verbal skills
·  Experience in Microelectronics field (2+ years)
·  Bachelors in Science or engineering discipline

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with KLA and/or AMAT defect inspection tools (2+ years)
·  Experience with Klarity defect software (1+ year)
·  Experience in Microelectronics field (4+ years)
·  Masters in Science or Engineering discipline
