Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant you will work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. Associate Consultants are important and key players for our clients. You’ll be their guide to developing an understanding of their processes, goals, and objectives to define their future state, then help them get there.
You’ll help clients understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes. Within your role as an Associate consultant in Data Services you will:
• Define requirements and implement data management solutions in an Agile project environment.
• Develop technical as well as business expertise in the data management domain and share this with colleagues and clients.
• Contribute to further growth of IBM Data Services by contributing to business development activities.
• Focus on the latest evolutions in helping our clients’ business by defining and setting up cloud data platforms which can be used for AI and Data Monetization, taking into account privacy and security requirements.
• Work in client service environment and gain expertise in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of establishing a modern data platform.
• Advise, design, and provide implementation support for data solutions on virtualized and cloud- based environments including hosted and on-premise solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Business Economics, Business & Management, or related studies.
• We welcome recent graduates with maximum 1 year of work experience and final-year students with less than 6 months of studies left.
• Professional and conscientious attitude.
• Good presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 2 days a week depending on business demand
• Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills both in writing and verbally.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and European Union without any restriction.
