Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will learn and support as junior delivery consultant who can learn fast and elude about the interconnected and integrated security landscape in Customer’s business context supporting projects collaborating with technical Teams.
On term you should have some of the Security knowledge specifically in in the Data Security domain. You also shall be able to speak across the Security landscape in general as well.
As a junior consultant, working under general supervision you will provide support in the form of briefings, workshops, and/or consulting engagements within your domain that assess a client’s security capabilities as well as recommending solutions to enhance a client’s overall security capabilities. Such client security capabilities may involve process, procedures, technology playbooks or documentation artefacts.
Information and Data are some of the most important organizational assets in today’s businesses. As a Junior Security Consultant, you will navigate to become a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements, supporting design development, and helping implementations the best Data Security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Understanding of basic data security concepts.
· Understanding of basic compliance and regulatory requirements
· Familiarity with general Data Security concepts such as:
· Data security and monitoring
· Vulnerability assessment of data repositories
· Sensitive data discovery and classification
· Data encryption and tokenization
· User Entitlement for Data Bases
· General knowledge of security compliance directives and concepts.
· Knowledge and hands on experience with SQL language
· Knowledgeable with database environments such as Oracle, Informix, SQL Server, UDB/DB2, Informix, MySQL, Teradata and/or Sybase.
· Knowledge and experience in UNIX/Linux environments
· Ability to work in Distributed environments.
· Ability to work in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google)
· An Understanding of various Enterprise architectures
· An Understanding of Cloud architecture
· An Understanding of basic Network concepts
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience with deployment of Data Security projects
· Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SABSA or other
· Experience with Guardium Data Security product deployments
· UNIX scripting and Perl programming
· Experience with Ansible, Java Scripting and XPath
· An understanding of Big Data technology and environments
· Basic knowledge of Z/OS environments
· Additional major European language skills preferred such as German, French, Italian.
