IBM's Watson Health Curam Solution team is now looking for a Technical Consultant with Curam experience to join our team!
This is an opportunity for you to join a team working directly with customers to meet business objectives and help transform technology solutions to our government sector clients.
As a Technical Consultant, you will have responsibility in the delivery of project implementations while embracing emerging new standards and solving complex problems. You will continue to develop expertise in the technical aspects of the Curam Business Application Suite (CBAS) and work closely with clients, and systems integration partners at project sites.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Facilitate requirements and fit/gap workshops with client staff on technical topics and non-functional requirements
• Create functional and technical designs for Curam extensions and configurations, such as workflow and/or rules.
• Develop, code and unit test Curam extensions in a J2EE environment.
• Investigate and resolve situations where actual test results do not match expected test results.
• Work closely with client and partner staff on matters related to the Curam Business Application Suite (CBAS) technical architecture and be able to deliver communications both written and verbal
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with fellow employees, System Integration partners and clients, to promote Cúram Software's technical credibility as a capable and trusted partner.
• Utilize Eclipse framework to implement Curam solutions
• Maintain industry standard version controls

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information technology related
· At least 3 years' experience in an hands-on computer related role, such developer, application programmer, technical consultant, etc
· At least 1 year experience in Curam software product and services
· At least 1 year J2EE/Java development
· Basic knowledge in UML
· Basic knowledge in relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL

· Experience with the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment, or Eclipse based IDE products such as IBM Rational Application Developer is highly desirable.
· Experience with Software Configuration Management / version control products such as IBM Rational ClearCase, CVS, Subversion
