Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Content Developer and Content Designer, you will acquire solid knowledge about IBM's strategic security software products. You'll work on a wide range of products, including instructions, application program interface (API) documents, user interface (UI) text, command line interface (CLI) strings, error messages, videos, architectural diagrams, and more. You will work closely with different IBM functions including product management, design, development, testing, and globalization. You will build technical environments and perform documentation tests to guarantee information accuracy. You'll also want a basic understanding of user security concepts, such as authentication, authorization, admission control, encryption, and user profiling
Tasks include:
·  Design the content strategy and information architecture for various programs
·  Design, develop and maintain online documentation (user guides, admin guides, installation guides) for innovative products and services
·  Collaborate openly and effectively with other writers, designers, developers, and offering management
·  Look for ways to improve the current documentation
·  Be creative and efficient in describing complex technology and environments

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with DITA and Markdown-based documentation is a must
·  A desire and ability to write clearly to convey information to the intended audience in an easily understood manner
·  Aptitude for technology
·  Excellent English language skills
·  Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
·  Effective communication skills to gather information from with subject matter experts and to gather and share information in a global environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with Python, XML, HTML, or other relevant technologies is an asset
·  Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation collaboration tools.
