Job description

The Chief Information Office within IBM is currently looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner with experience working in a global agile delivery environment. This technical position will be part of a co-located squad in Research Triangle Park and accountable for gathering business requirements, leading and designing product enhancements and troubleshooting a business critical application.

This role sits within one of many global squads in the Systems Pricing Hardware Tribe supporting the ePricer application. Expectations include:
·  Act as a stakeholder for all IBM employees while working with the other leaders of the tribe to define the solution
·  Guide the technical team while balancing Business Requirements and the technical solution to provide a business critical application
·  Assist the technical team in making Architectural Designs
·  Be a leader for the Tribe in Agile Practices
·  Participating in various Technical and Business Forums
·  Lead design practices across the application This role requires knowledge and experience of various tools used within the Tribe, not limited to the following:
·  Collaboration: Slack, Trello
·  Issue/Ticket Management: ZenHub; JIRA; RTC; ServiceNow
·  Source Code Management: RTC, GitHub
·  Analysis: SonarQube, Contrast, New Relic A day in the life at IBM:
·  Interact with Pricing Business Stakeholders and Pricing Technology Squads gathering requirements on enhancements, projects and/or defects.
·  Work in an open environment where creativity and innovation is welcome and encouraged.
·  Participate in our Agile Ceremonies – Daily Stand Up at our Physical Wall of Work to track to our Iteration Plan and discuss and remove blockers CIODEM19
