Job description
Responsible to perform component system integration and bring-up on IBM Z mainframe servers and mid-range servers. Duties include system assembly,code driver loads and cabling attachment to support high voltage AC/DC power, LAN/network attach, attach of water cooling components, and the install and debug of I/O cards. Perform power-on and functional bring-up, loading of Linuz/AIX and IBM Z operating systems and support elements. Write and/or modify scripts to exercise components using an IBM Z proprietary exerciser.
