Blockchain Business Development Intern-Digital Assets
Amsterdam (Montgomery) Sales
Job description
IBM is seeking a Graduate Business Development Intern to join the IBM Blockchain Financial Services team in NY, NY.
Are you passionate about research, business development, finance and analytical problem solving? Are you looking for an internship experience that will immerse you in a fast-paced, innovative environment and enable you to deepen core skills? If so, we want to hear from you.
This role will perform in-depth research and business model analyses on the deployment of blockchain technology and digital asset use cases in the financial services industry (retail and wholesale segments). The goal is to enable IBM to communicate to potential clients (banks, central banks, non-bank financial institutions) the cost/benefits of adopting its blockchain payment solutions and various business/operational/regulatory considerations they will need to consider.
This is a tight-knit team and as we are getting ready to launch our first solution to the market, there will be additional ad hoc projects on product and services delivery workstreams that will provide visibility to multiple sides of the business. The ideal candidate will be passionate about performing research, analyses and translating them into business and technical insight.
Candidates pursuing a Master's degree in Finance, Business or a related area are preferred.
IBM will not be providing visa sponsorship for the position now or in the future. Therefore, in order to be considered for this position, you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
