Backup Administrator

· Handle Level 3 incidents and problems, provide support and technical expertise
· Design solutions and determine configuration and administration rules and parameters
· Setup and migration of the new Spectrum Protect backup environment
· Setup of the operational dashboards and reporting in Spectrum Protect and Avamar Backup and Recovery
· Setup of TDP for Virtual Environments, migration of VMware backups to TDP for VE and updating of the operational handbook documentation
· Setup of Proxy Backup Avamar, migration of Vmware backup from another backup software and updating of the operational handbook documentation
· Restore procedure testing for the different backup methods & operating systems and creation/validation of the documentation

Required technical knowledge:

· IBM Spectrum Protect (Architecture & Implementation) on AIX with disaster recovery o Avamar Backup and Recovery o EMC DataDomain, o LANfree backups implementation o Netapp
· Required infrastructure knowledge: o HP (Servers/Blades) o Datadomain o IBM Technology o Fujitsu
· Any certification constitutes a real plus : Spectrum Protect (Architecture);
· Flexibility (on-call 7*24), good analytical and communication skills, solution-focused, thoroughness, an organized mind, and determination

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor or master in computing, or equivalent experience ICT

• Minimum 3 years'experience in a similar infrastructure position

• Working knowledge of French and English, Dutch is a plus
